Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet video reviews invade YouTube..
YouTube is becoming the “cockpit arena” of tablet computers.
Aside from the drop test video, a dozen or more videos featuring the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet are also available in the most popular video sharing site in our solar system: YouTube.
Apparently, experts, non-experts and regular consumers agree that the two new Android tablets are this month’s archrivals because the two devices are offering the similar “Android solution” like forking the operating system and, or, removing Google’s native Android application marketplace. Plus, adding a new user interface on top of the stock Android operating system for smartphones.
Nevertheless, the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet are getting a lot of attention largely due to the cheaper asking price/s undercutting Apple’s popular iPad tablet PC and dozens of overpriced Android tablet devices running either the smartphone or the true tablet Android operating system (which is Honeycomb).
The drop test has declared the Nook Tablet the winner, but many video (and written) reviews are claiming that the Kindle Fire is the smarter choice just because it offers a more complex ecosystem filled with free and premium, productive and gaming applications, e-books, colorful magazines, music files and more, while the Nook Tablet’s ecosystem still needs more seed. Sturdy device vs software powerhouse?
One reviewer, “palmsolo” has posted a 23-minute video review featuring the Kindle Fire and the Nook Tablet. The review is claiming that the Kindle Fire is better than the Nook Tablet because Amazon is offering more content. The review also questioned the Nook’s user interface calling it “not user-friendly.” Apparently, some viewers disagree and the top comment as of Tuesday is saying that it is a “biased” review. Be the judge and see the long review below this article (first video).
Another video review/comparison is posted by PhoneArena (second video below). Similar to other reviews, the tech site is claiming that the Kindle Fire is better due to cheaper tag price and wider applications and content selection. The review also added that Nook Tablet is still lacking the much-needed robust ecosystem.
Well it looks like the tablet market now is not about hardware, but a battle of ecosystem. How can the Nook Tablet compete? Well, it looks like the Android Market is the only solution now because Google’s own store now includes Movies, Books and also Music.
