HTC Ville with Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich reappears

HTC Ville leaks online, now with capacitive buttons and qHD touchscreen.

First leak was claiming that the HTC Ville will not include capacitive buttons because it will include Google’s new Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Now, a new leak appeared online courtesy of Pocket Now, and the render revealed that the new HTC smartphone will include buttons.
For starters, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich doesn’t require capacitive buttons.
Reports say the HTC Ville will also include 4.3-inch qHD screen or touchscreen with resolution of 540 x 960. Apparently, HTC is already selling a smartphone with HD screen, the HTC Rezound with 720p touchscreen so it looks like the Taiwan-based company is not yet ready to offer more iPhone-killer smartphones with higher pixel density.
The report adds that the HTC Ville will include an 8-megapixel primary digital camera, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4, and thickness of 8.49mm. No word yet regarding the device’s release date but a MWC or Mobile World Congress announcement and release date under the banner of April are highly possible.
Aside from the HTC Ville, a set of new Android devices are also expected to arrive next year, and the devices are expected to use the Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The new Google mobile operating system includes features like Face Unlock, Voice to text, better user interface and better applications support. By the way, Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus smartphone is the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.
