Galaxy Nexus of Verizon is an expensive phone

Indeed, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is an expensive phone to the tune of $1,200 in Ebay.

Apparently, the listing has now been removed due to unknown reason/s, but for the sake of talking about the best Android phone yet, we’ve been told that a person was trying to sell the Galaxy Nexus with Verizon LTE for $1,200. If I’m not mistaken, the HSPA+ variant is priced at around $700 so the Ebay listing might be overpriced.
If we’re going to talk about supply vs demand, we know that rare products are usually more expensive than over supplied products. The bottom line, Verizon is still not announcing the release date of the Galaxy Nexus, or even its price tag. Rumors say it will debut this week, but Verizon is not yet commenting regarding the issue.
In related news, the HSPA+ unlocked Galaxy Nexus is currently priced at around $750 to $800. According to multiple online retailers, the Galaxy Nexus is one of the best-selling phones this month. Expansys, a third-party retailer of the unlocked Galaxy Nexus ranks the Galaxy Nexus as the most popular smartphone as of Sunday, beating Samsung’s other popular phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note, the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Motorola’s Droid Razr.

According to the mill, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus might get a $299.99 price tag due to the 32GB on-board storage. In other countries, the Galaxy Nexus variant available is the 16GB model, while the 32GB HSPA+ variant is listed but reportedly “not yet available.”
So aside from the LTE or Long Term Evolution and a pair of Verizon apps, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus could be the first 32GB variant available and it is a big good news because apparently, the Galaxy Nexus doesn’t support MicroSD card.
