Whether you like it or not, Android devices ar here to stay, and more devices are coming this month that will attract your credit card.
Verizon Wireless, the biggest wireless carrier here in United States, is set to unveil new Android devices courtesy of Motorola Mobility, from tablets to a new smartphone. Motorola Mobility and Verizon Wireless announced this week the upcoming white Motorola Droid Razr, the newest Droid Razr variant that will target the fans of white-coloured smartphones. Apparently, the new white Droid Razr will rival Apple’s white iPhone 4S whether Apple likes it or not.
The new Droid Razr will offer the same under the hood power, and of course, the same thickness. The device offers 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, Super AMOLED qHD screen, and two cameras. Plus, this new Droid Razr is also expected to receive the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update early next year.
In related news, Verizon Wireless started selling new Motorola tablets with the Long Term Evolution flavor this month, the Motorola Droid XyBoard tablets. Two variants, the more conventional XyBoard 10.1 which is similar but better than the Motorola Xoom, and the smaller but better if you hate the idea of carrying a big tablet, XyBoard 8.2 — the two new tablets are now available.
According to Motorola’s press release, the new DROID XYBOARD 10.1 will be available in three models: 16 GB for $529.99 and 32 GB for $629.99. The 64 GB model will be available online for $729.99. These tablets require 2 year contract agreement plus additional data plan.
Meanwhile, the new Droid XyBoard 8.2 is also available in two models, 16 GB for $429.99 and 32 GB for $529.99, and still, the smaller XyBoards require 2-year contract agreement with Verizon Wireless plus taxes and the required data plan.
For the Droid Razr, Verizon is set to use the $299.99 price tag with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers are also required to subscribe to Verizon’s smartphone data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
