iPhone 4S vs Samsung Galaxy S2 is real

New report reveals Samsung’s business strategy against Apple’s iPhone 4S.

Sydney Morning Herald revealed in a report that Apple and Samsung’s rivalry in Australia is heating up, especially in Sydney where a temporary Samsung store appeared ahead of the iPhone 4S launch, surprisingly, the store was built just a block away from the city’s Apple store.
According to the report, Samsung Electronics Australia is offering a super-subsidized Samsung Galaxy S II or S2 for $2 with contract agreement, but here’s the deal, only ten lucky customers are getting the $2 Galaxy S2 each day. The deal is arguably attractive, and it successfully created a long line filled with customers that have their own chairs. The scene, obviously, is like an Apple product launch.

Samsung and Apple are not just rivals in the smartphone arena, but also in courtrooms. Apple is accusing the South Korea-based company of slavishly copying the company’s iProducts. In fact, Samsung and Apple’s Australia-based case regarding the iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1′s so-called similarities is not yet over.
iPhone 4S was first announced on October 4th in California, and Australia is one of the few markets that will get the product first, followed by more countries next month. iPhone 4S resembles the older iPhone 4 when it comes to design, but inside, Apple has upgraded the processor to A5 dual-core processor, and the camera now with 8-megapixel sensor.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S II is one of the most popular Android smartphones available, and according to Samsung, the SII is their most popular to date based on month-to-month sales. The Samsung Galaxy S II or S2 is powered by Samsung engineered Exynos 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Android Gingerbread with optimized Samsung TouchWiz user interface skin, 8-megapixel primary camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and thickness of just 8.5mm.
Aside from the Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung is also expected to release a new smartphone next month sporting the Google Nexus brand, the Samsung Google Nexus Prime or Galaxy Nexus. According to rumors, the new Samsung phone is quite similar to the Galaxy S II, but with a new processor, a TI OMAP dual-core, and an optimized 5-megapixel camera. The 2011 Nexus device is also the phone that will launch the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
For starters, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich is the newest operating system upgrade design to work on both smartphone and tablet. According to reports, the next Android operating system will be much faster, improved battery management, intuitive and more flexible.
Apparently, Apple also released a new operating system on Wednesday, the iOS 5. The new Apple mobile operating system sports better notification, Twitter integration, camera button support, AirPlay monitor mirroring, PC Free feature that will allow the phone to be activated without a PC or Mac, and the new iCloud support. The iOS 5 also includes a new application called iMessage, the instant messaging application slightly similar to BlackBerry Messenger.
