Samsung Forte coming to MetroPCS in US

MetroPCS, a service provider in the USA, is getting Samsung Forte which is a high end phone. MetroPCS recently moved to 4G network and hence they are trying to get some high end phones in order to unleash those fast speeds.

They will be getting Samsung Forte which will have a sliding keyboard in the landscape mode and there will be a 1 GHz processor inside. Apart from that, this phone will feature Android 2.2 aka Froyo OS and for taking pictures, there will be a five megapixels camera. Rumours say that this might be a Galaxy S device but nothing is confirmed yet. S

Samsung Forte might be the same as the SCH-R910 which was leaked for MetroPCS a couple of days ago. 4G network isn’t released in India yet and you won’t be able to get fast speeds even if this handset comes to India. From the pics, this looks like a high end device and will surely be priced highly. The exact price tag isn’t known yet but we will keep you posted about all the developments.
